This section will be continually updated with relevant information regarding the college application process, including policy announcements, application availability, and general news, notes,
and advice.

-The College Board has announced the 2009 implementation of Score Choice.  Students will now have the option to send scores to colleges from specific sittings.  While several schools have announced that they will accept selective score reporting, other schools are still asking students to submit all scores.  For more details about Score Choice, click here.

-The UC system has approved several policy changes regarding UC application requirements. Among them, beginning with the class entering in fall 2012, applicants will no longer be required to take Subject Tests.  For complete details of the policy change, click here.

-The UC system has announced plans to trim enrollment by 2,300 students for the 2009-2010 school year.   While this appears to mean that admission to the system will be more competitive in the coming year, the University will continue to offer a place somewhere in the system to every UC-eligible California resident applicant.  For complete details of the plan, click here.

ABOUT USAbout.html

"Thanks again for your help and very good counsel, for both Clare and her parents.  She definitely feels that you are her advocate and sounding board, which is exactly what we had hoped for.  As I said, she feels she is very on top of the process--I'm so pleased that she is so confident of what she needs to do."
